how to care for your yoga towel

Most yoga towels are made of materials that are machine washable. However, make sure you wash with cold water and do not use bleach or fabric softener. These chemicals will harm the surface of the towel and result in it losing its absorbent qualities.

When you finish your yoga session, make sure you take the towel off your mat before rolling it up. In this way you will preserve the quality of both mat and towel. Make sure to take the towel out of your bag when you get home, and hang it up to dry. Wash frequently to keep the towel fresh.
